1923 Grotrian Steinweg 160 grand ebony satin $19,995 The Pearl S. Buck piano: European design from the "original" Steinway family. Restored and refinished 8 years ago, this fine grand piano has a sound larger than its size should permit. This piano was originally Pearl S. Buck's piano; Nobel and Pulitzer prize-winning author. A wonderful provenance!
2007 Charles R Walter Heritage Grand commission grand mahogany satin Another being manufactured! This piano was commissioned by Charlottesville Piano and the case was specially designed by Mark Perry and beautifully constructed by Charles R Walter piano manufacturers. Named the Heritage Grand, it was commissioned to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Charlottesville Piano and was inspired by the grand pianos of the 1907 vintage. This is the prototype model for the Walter Heritage Grand, and is signed by Charles R Walter. Two inches longer than a Steinway M, it's a quality producing instrument, and priced at $15,000 below the 5'7" M.
1917 Steinway A grand ivory satin SOLD A "stretch A" at 6'4", this piano was originally mahogany. The buyer had us restore this piano and refinish it as ivory. That's the beauty of buying a piano from us "ready for restoration": you get to choose a custom restoration.
1924 Steinway L grand mahogany satin call for price This piano has yet to be restored, but when it's done, it will look like the piano in this photograph. You can also have the case finished in ebony if you choose, or your choice of red or brown mahogany, satin or semi satin.
1917 Steinway A III Louis XV mahogany satin or polish $65,000 This rare case makes a gorgeous presentation in any room. We have just begun (June 2008) the restoration on this "stretch A" in the Louis XV case style. A red or brown mahogany finish would suit this instrument very nicely. The photograph depicts the instrument before restoration. You may customize this piano for qualities like touchweight, keytops, strings, action parts, hammers and case color if you move on this piano before it undergoes its full restoration.
1902 Steinway A grand mahogany polish $47,795 A fully rebuilt and refinished vintage 1902 Steinway Grand Piano, Model A, finished in dark brown mahogany polish, this instrument rises on three "ice cream cone" supports, and features satinwood inlay in an ivy-leaf motif on the music desk and fallboard. $47,795 installed.
